Dawn Haywood - Windsor Academy Trust Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Dawn Haywood is the Chief Executive Officer of Windsor Academy Trust, a family of 15 schools across the West Midlands. Dawn leads the trust's core mission to unlock the academic and personal potential of every student, especially those most vulnerable. She is also deeply passionate about  the power and potential of school trusts to make a difference in their communities and contribute to shaping education policy at a system level. 

Her extensive background includes starting out as a PE teacher, spending a decade at the Youth Sport Trust leading two strands of the government PE and School Sport Strategy, establishing the Youth Board for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and founding the Student Engagement Trust.  Dawn has also been a board member of two Local Authority Priority Education Investment Areas.
