After much hard work studying and preparing, students across Windsor Academy Trust’s (WAT) secondary schools are celebrating receiving their GCSE results today after another strong set of results for schools across the WAT family.
Students are now looking forward to progressing onto their chosen further education institutions, with many remaining at the trust’s Aspire Sixth Form in South Staffordshire and Windsor High School and Sixth Form in Halesowen to study for A Levels and vocational qualifications.
Dawn Haywood, Chief Executive at Windsor Academy Trust, remarked, "I am delighted to see students from across the Windsor Academy Trust family achieve such strong results in their GCSEs today. I couldn’t be prouder of our students and our staff who have worked so hard for these successes."

Cheslyn Hay Academy:
The following students achieved a Grade 6 or better in all of their qualifications: William Dorricott, Ruby Falconer, Jasmine Fowler, Bella Gracey, Robyn Hall, Christopher Jackson, Ruby Jones, Ashton Lythgoe-Jones, Alfie Naylor-Uren, Isabelle Robinson, Daisy Stewart-Cooney and Finlay Thatcher
Collecting GCSE results today, Molly Jones, said:
“I feel really good and I'm so pleased with my results, especially my 9s in History, French and English Literature. I can relax a bit now! I was a little nervous about Aspire Sixth but now that I've got these results I'm really excited and looking forward to it. Thanks to all of the staff and teachers at Cheslyn Hay!”
Tom Macdonald, Headteacher at Cheslyn Hay Academy, said:
“I am so pleased for our students - they have done amazingly well and we have some real success stories here. A huge thank you to the parents and staff of our students who have supported them in their journey to today: so many of our young people have done better than they ever expected and we are delighted that so many are choosing to remain with us at Aspire Sixth.”
Clayton Hall Academy:
Collecting GCSE results today, Josh, said: “I really can’t believe I’ve done so well, and I’m so proud of myself and would like to thank my teachers who have supported me”.
Caty Reid, Headteacher at Clayton Hall Academy, said:
“I am incredibly proud of how hard all of our students have worked to achieve these fabulous results. These qualifications set our young people up for success in the next stage of their educational career whether that be via A-levels, T-levels, BTECs or Apprenticeship.”
Great Wyrley Academy:
Collecting GCSE results today, Yvonne Kayode, said:
“I am really pleased with my results and I am so grateful for all the help that the teachers have given me over the years. I can now go on to do the A levels that I want to do.”
Kelly Moore, Headteacher at Great Wyrley Academy, said:

Kingswinford Academy:
Collecting GCSE results today, Maiya-Jay Patel, said:
“I'm over the moon with my results. I thank my teachers greatly. I would not have succeeded without the fantastic support I have received from my teachers over the course of my time here at Kingswinford Academy”.
Sam Griffiths, said:

Ian Moreton, Headteacher at Kingswinford Academy, said:

Kyle Gascoigne Jones, “I'm really happy with my results and can't wait to start Newcastle College to study A Levels in Maths, Physics and Geography!”
Lyla Toplass, “I'm delighted with my results and am excited to start my Dancing Scholarship at Stockout College. In the future, I am interested in studying English and Film at University.”
Adam Mason, “I'm looking forward to studying Maths, Politics and Physics A Levels at NSCG Stafford College.”
Lucas H, “After a great five years at Sir Thomas Boughey Academy, I am eager to build on my academic success studying A Levels in Computer Science, Physics, Maths and Further Maths at Cheshire College South and West.”
Joe Jones, “I’m so happy with my results and will be studying Law, Psychology and English Literature at Cheshire College. My future aim is to relocate and get a job in law.”
Jane Hingley, Headteacher at Sir Thomas Boughey Academy, said:
“The class of 2024 have risen to the challenge of the GCSE examinations and due to their hard work and commitment, fully deserve their excellent results. We want to thank our families for their ongoing support and also our staff team who have worked tirelessly with these students to help them on their road to success.
“Although the Class of 2024 had some of their most formative years in secondary school disrupted by the pandemic, they have stepped up to full GCSE courses, graded at 2019 standards.
