We are incredibly proud to share that Windsor Academy Trust has been shortlisted for three prestigious awards at the MAT Excellence Awards: MAT of the Year, Digital Innovation Award, and Civic Partnership of the Year. This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of our staff, students, and communities across our WAT Family.

The MAT Excellence Awards celebrate the impact of trusts and the organisations that support them, and to be named finalists in three categories is a humbling achievement. Technology is a key enabler of our mission to unlock academic and personal potential. Our Apple Case Study recognition highlighted how our EmpowerED Digital Strategy is transforming teaching and learning, equipping students with skills for the future. Through this approach, we have embedded digital learning across our schools, ensuring accessibility, creativity, and engagement for all students.

As Apple Distinguished Schools, Windsor High School and Sixth Form and Goldsmith Primary Academy exemplify our commitment to harnessing cutting-edge technology. Across our trust, schools are leveraging iPads, AI-powered learning tools, and digital platforms to enhance personalised learning experiences and ensure students develop future-ready skills. AI is being explored as a means to support both students and teachers, enabling adaptive learning and reducing administrative workload. Our focus on technology extends beyond the classroom, embedding digital fluency into professional learning and leadership development across the trust.

Making a Civic Impact

Education extends beyond the classroom, and we are passionate about the role our schools play in their communities. Our groundbreaking partnership with the NHS is a prime example of this commitment. By working together to integrate education and healthcare, we are supporting student wellbeing and preparing young people for careers in the health sector.

In addition, our Community Hub at Windsor Olympus Academy has been a beacon of support for families, providing essential resources and strengthening community ties. We are excited to expand this initiative across more schools in the coming months, ensuring that our trust continues to be a pillar of support for local communities.
