WAT Professional Learning

Windsor Academy Trust seeks to offer excellent development opportunities to all Teaching and Support staff across WAT and the local region, and has been identifying, facilitating and hosting innovative programmes for many years.

We believe strongly in the power of continuing professional Learning (CPL) to support and develop the best leaders, teachers and support staff. WAT has built a reputation and a capability to organise and deliver a range of development programmes not just for staff across the Windsor Academy Trust, but also for schools across the region. Most of our professional learning opportunities such as the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML), Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and Headship (NPQH), are available for schools across the region to join.

We develop all programmes based on the Standard for Teachers’ professional development, incorporating what the evidence tells us leads to learning that has an impact. Our aim is to enhance the range and quality of collaborative CPL that can be run locally to have a positive impact on the quality of learning for all our children.
