Safeguarding Officer (Rivers Primary Academy)

GRADE 5 – SCP 17-22
£23,836 – £26,317 per annum pro rata
20 hours per week term time only (negotiable)
Required as soon as possible

It is an exciting time here at Rivers Primary Academy as we are almost in the process of
moving into our new school.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and highly motivated Safeguarding Officer to join our
school. You will be an important member of our school team and have a positive approach in
this key role.
We are looking for someone who:
– must be a minimum of Level 2 Safeguarding trained
– can provide comprehensive safeguarding advice and guidance to staff working in
– can offer advice, consultation and support to parents and carers/parents and members
of the public who have concerns about children and young people
– can liaise with external agencies
– ideally can deliver training
– has a full driving licence
