We are thrilled to launch the fourth annual WAT a Run event! Over the past three years, this incredible journey has united our community and raised over £40,000 to support our transformative 'Bed & Breakfast' campaign. This year, we’re aiming higher than ever before, with a target of £70,000!
The 'Bed & Breakfast' campaign remains at the heart of our mission: ensuring every young person in our schools has a bed to sleep in and breakfast to start their day. With your support, we can continue to tackle bed poverty and ensure our students are ready to learn.
The energy last year was electric, and the results were phenomenal! Following our 2025 event, our community raised almost £20,000, helping us power past our £40,000 cumulative milestone.
2025 Highlights:
Nearly 100 runners took part, with participants pushing past personal bests.
Six incredible individuals completed the entire 85km across both days—covering more than two full marathons.
Many others became official ultra-marathoners by completing the full distance on Day 2.
Over 500 people joined the Family Fun Run finale at Great Wyrley.
The Clayton Carnival at Clayton Hall Academy created a festival atmosphere of joy and purpose to close Day 1.
Relive the determination and community spirit that made last year our best event yet:
This year’s event promises to be our most impactful yet as we strive for our £70,000 target:
