We place a significant emphasis on developing leadership skills and offer an extensive programme of professional development for school leaders.
Our courses support individuals at all stages of their leadership journey, from getting prepared for leadership to senior leadership and headship. They provide proven high-quality content that is structured to ensure a positive impact on schools.
The National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are changing. From autumn 2021, the NPQ for Middle Leadership is replaced by two new programmes targeted at middle leaders. The NPQ for Leading Culture and Behaviour will be suitable for pastoral middle leaders, and the NPQ for Leading Teaching will be perfect for curriculum leads.
Another new and exciting programme is the NPQ for Leading Teacher Development. This programme will be suitable for all school staff who develop and lead others' professional development.
Three existing leadership NPQs are reformed. The NPQs for Senior Leadership, Headship and Executive Leadership have been rewritten to incorporate the latest evidence and best leadership practice.
Based on the Standards for Teachers’ professional development, our programmes deliver impact based on evidence. We aim to enhance the range and quality of collaborative professional development that positively impacts children's quality of learning.
To ensure staff can continue their development safely and effectively, we've adapted our programmes to create interactive virtual sessions delivered by our expert facilitators. Importantly, courses will still allow for collaboration with colleagues, personal reflection and practice-based discussion.
We will be working with new partners to bring you these exciting new programmes. You can find more about our programmes below and register your interest to be the first to hear about upcoming dates and formats.
