Are you always as effective as you would like? Do you always prioritise the “big” things in life and work? Would you like to improve your relationships so that everyone “wins”?
The First Steps programme has been redesigned to keep us all safe and will be delivered as a bookclub format. You will develop personal effectiveness capabilities to use in home life and as you progress on your pathway in school. First Steps has a proven structure encouraging you to engage with some inspiring reading and then reflect upon your role and competencies to lead in an educational setting. During the course you will take responsibility for the learning of the whole group, reflecting together in a book club format which will be hosted by Jan Rudge on Zoom.
Together you will develop creative learning opportunities and build a network of supportive colleagues from similar settings. Together you will explore the powerful changes you can first make in self leadership before you can most effectively lead others.
This course is suitable for both teaching and non-teaching staff who are looking to enhance personal effectiveness in all roles.
The course starts on Thursday 5th November and takes approximately 8 months to complete.
