Help for Households Scheme

The Government’s ‘Help for Households’ scheme brings together over 40 support schemes that the public can access, including help with:

• Household costs
• Energy bills
• Food bills
• Childcare costs
• Income support
• Transport costs

A range of online tools can help you check quickly and efficiently the support you might be eligible for, and how to access it.

Household Support Fund 

You may be able to get help with essential costs from Walsall Council through the Household Support Fund. This could help if you’re struggling to afford things like:

• Energy and water bills
• Food
• Essential items
