WAT a Run - An Unforgettable Journey of Strength, Unity and Determination Captured on Film

As you may know, we at Windsor Academy Trust recently embarked on a significant challenge to put our unity, endurance, and commitment to the test. A dedicated team of over 40 staff took on an extraordinary feat of running two marathons in two days between each of our 10 schools. This event was all to raise funds for the newly established Windsor Academy Trust Community Foundation.
Today, we are thrilled to share with you an inspirational and heart-warming film that documents this epic two-day event. From the starting line to the triumphant finish and family fun run at Halesowen Athletics Club, this film captures the unity, determination and spirit of our wonderful WAT family.
But that's not all - spot the unexpected star that steals the show halfway through. Our visit to our new free school, Windsor Olympus Academy in Winson Green, brought a delightful surprise: a charming, friendly lamb who came out to cheer us on. An unforgettable moment amidst the sweat and grit, this adorable encounter showcases the unexpected joys of our journey.
Our CEO, Dawn Haywood, as well as all our brave runners, exhibited the power of resilience, camaraderie and civic responsibility through their formidable challenge. Their endeavours are a testament to our collective drive to contribute to our communities and make a tangible difference.
